The filter housing of this system receives rainwater for the
connected area through an angled inlet which generates radial flow patterns. A Hydrodynamic separator is employed to convert turbulent waters into a radial laminar flow pattern, facilitating particle sediment that is then trapped trapped in a slit chamber located beneath the separator, which can be easily withdrawn for cleaning.

Thefilter and filter roof are located in the central section of the filter housing, which filters out fine materials using an up-flow process. Dissolved materials are precipitated and adsorbed, and the filter is backwashed from above. The filter element can be easily exchanged
through the access manway constructed in the roof of the body, and the filter element can be easily pulled up and removed from the shaft housing.
