More Protection - Against impact

Most windscreens are made up of two sheets of glass with a standard single layer of Poly Vinyl Butyral (PVB) interlayer between them. The Protector Solar+ has a second layer of PVB interlayer between the sheets of glass, meaning it can withstand considerably more protection against severe impacts.

More Safety - Through UV screening

The second layer of PVB interlayer is made up of 'S-Lec' Solar Control Film which blocks out over 99% of the sun's harmful UV rays which can cause sunburn, skin cancer and retinal damage, as well as vehicle interior fading.

More Comfort - Through interior heat reduction

The windscreen can be responsible for the transmission of up to 30% of infra-red rays. These rays are the main cause for heat build-up within your vehicle's interior. The 'S-Lec' Solar Control Film within the second layer of PVB drastically reduces tranmission of infra-red rays while maintaining a high level of visibility.

More Environmentally Friendly - Through reduction in vehicle emissions

The insulating attributes of the 'S-Lec' PVB interlayer reduces the sun's heating effect on in-car temperatures. The reduced need for air conditioning decreases the burden on the car engine and cooling systems and results in reduced fuel consumption and carbon dioxide emission.

No Interference with mobile phone, E-tag and remote control operation

The revoluntionary 'S-Lec' film in the Protector Solar+ does not contain any metal coating layer and therefore allows radio waves of all frequencies to pass through it without interference. This includes mobile phone signals, garage remote controls and E-Tags.

Availability - Custom made to order

Unlike regular windscreens which are imported by the container-load, Protector Solar+ windscreens are individually custom made for your car at our manufacturing plant in Beenleigh, Queensland.

It generally takes a few weeks to manufacture these high quality, custom made windscreens. However, stock is often kept for the most popular vehicles in Australia at our state distribution centres.
